Great customer service by Rohit, he was very polite and efficient. As a first time wearer of variofocal glasses he advised me of what to expect and that to persevere with them "as your brain needs to adapt to the glasses". He was spot on, they were frustrating initially as you have to adapt to the transitions from distance to mid to reading. Three weeks on now and I'm very comfortable with them, it has made a big difference in my day to day life. I also got a pair of sunglasses on a buy one get a second pair free which was a bonus with summer round the corner.

The optometrist was excellent — very thorough, patient, and explained every step in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The staff member who carried out the eye measurements was also excellent — very detailed, patient, and guided me through every step in a simple and understandable manner as well.

I visited them today to pick up my polarised glasses (third time). After two months I finally given up and took them but still not happy with quality. I used this branch for last 12 years but it will be last time. They have absolutely no clue how to make polarised glasses. Last year was exactly the same but at least they managedsomehowto make them right. Discolouration due to stress on lenses from incorrect fitting and stuff telling me it's normal. I paid close to 500£ for two pairs and ill expect at least a bit of quality My wife had similar experience and waiting time with bifocal glasses. Keep it up and you will end up closing this branch really soon.

Compared to over a decade ago when I had a nasty experience from a different SPECSAVERS Store (north london) who practically blackmailed me for the cost of the eye test my gran didn't attend?! I gave in paid the fee. However it frightened me off from taking any further interest in SPECSAVERS as a business. However this was a much better experience thanks to the local (Feltham) advertising! Also FREE.

As someone with mobility issues and only having vision in one eyes I ask a lot of questions and when I did Meera was patient with me and made me feel not only heard but seen! It’s easy to feel like a bother and I not feel like I was bothering her. It’s service like this that makes me stick with Specsavers
